Project 04 / 07 · Live · App Store (BB - Sports)
bebetter
AI ski coaching: upload a run and get technique corrections, with optional review by elite instructors.
01 · Problem
"I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't see it myself." Private lessons are expensive and hard to schedule, and sensor-based tools give you numbers without video. bebetter is a spin-off of SnowMatch that brings video feedback to every skier.
02 · Approach
Connects skiers with certified instructors at their resort and lets them upload runs for video feedback. The native iOS app adds ski tracking with session sync, a pose HUD on video, a ranking screen and shareable stories. On the app I wrote a new ski-tracking algorithm, reworked the video and pose HUD, renamed the skill score to BB IQ across the UI and APIs, redesigned the Instagram sticker and the ranking screen, and made shared video links open the bebetter web page.
03 · Outcome
Live on the App Store as BB - Sports and on bebettersport.com, which shows 160+ riders and coaching at resorts from Aspen to Whistler. It gives skiers Strava-like stats, a ranking and shareable stories, on top of video analysis.
